Reason and Wisdom Auditor’s Report and Financial Statements for the Year Ended 31st December 2022.
AKS Audit Assurance and Consultancy Services. We have audited the accompanying financial statement of Reason and Wisdom in the light of the Qu’aran and Sunna set out on pages 8 to 12 which comprises of the statement of financial performance, statement of financial position, statement of changes in equity, statement of cash flows and notes to the financial statements including a summary of significant accounting policies applicable to the charity. In our opinion, the financial statements give a true and fair view of the financial position of the charity as at 31st December 2022 and of its financial performance and its cash flows for the year then ended in accordance with generally accepted principles and basis opinion.
We conducted our audit in accordance with international standards on auditing (ISAS) issued by the international audit standard board. our responsibilities under those standards are further described in the auditor’s responsibility for the audit of the financial statements section of our report. We independent of the authority in accordance with the international ethics standards board for accountants’ code of ethics for professional accountants together with the ethical requirements that are relevant to our audit of the financial statements in the Gambia and we have fulfilled our other responsibilities in accordance with these requirements and the IESBA code. we believe that the audit evidence we have obtained is sufficient and appropriate to provide a basis for our opinion.
Respective Responsibility of directors and auditors
The directors are responsible for the preparation and fair presentation of the
financial statements that gives a true and fair view in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and for such internal control as members necessary to enable the preparation of financial statement that are free material misstatements whether due to fraud or errors. In preparing the financial statements, the directors are responsible for assessing the charity ability to continue as a going concern, disclosing as applicable, matters related to going concern operations, or have no realistic alternative but to do so.
Surplus for the year total GMD as at 01 January 2022 to 31 December 2022 are: D24,123, 979 the attached notes form part of these Financial Statements.
